With how overwhelming NYC’s culinary scene is–in a good way, of course!–we open a restaurant week with open arms. Like, the chance to try some of NYC’s top restaurants at rates? That’s certainly right up our alley. Especially since the price of everything keeps rising due to inflation, and we’re not sure how much those stimulus checks will really help us… And if dumplings, Tteokbokki, and Bún bò Huế make your mouth water, this new upcoming restaurant week will certainly pique your interest…
Welcome to Chinatown, the Chinatown-based non-profit who’s behind fun NYC events such as Chinatown Night Market, is hosting Chinatown Restaurant Week this May!
The week-long culinary festival will highlight 18 neighborhood favorites, including some beloved favorites that have been Chinatown staples for quite some time, such as Hop Kee and Jing Fong. Eager eaters will get the chance to indulge in curated recommendations and off menu specials that will only be available during the event.

Participating restaurants will offer prix-fixe menus at a price of their choosing, with prices ranging from $20 to $80 for dine-in and from $13 t0 $25 for quick service/takeout. Ten of the 18 restaurants are offering dine-in, while the other eight are offering quick service. Restaurants include:
- The Original Buddha Bodai
- Hop Kee
- Jing Fong
- Phoenix Palace
- Ming Wong
- Nha Trang 1/ Sugarcane Daddy
