For the first time ever, Barbados’ iconic chain restaurant, Chefette, is coming stateside!
This Tuesday, Visit Barbados, in association with JetBlue, invites you to join them for a gastronomic experience that, until now, could only be experienced in Barbados.
This Bajan “treasure,” raved about by Rihanna, is making its debut pop-up in New York City via food truck at Bryant Park (42nd St between 5th Ave and 6th Ave, New York, NY) on June 6 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
“Absolutely no trip to Barbados is complete without a trip to Chefette,” commented Eusi Skeete, US Director at BTMI, “So we are excited to have partnered with this iconic Bajan brand as well as JetBlue, which continues to be one of our most valuable partners in bringing the east coast to Barbados, as well as a bit of Barbados, to the east coast via experiences like this one.”
Aside from the remarkable vibes, you can expect Chefette to bring its super diverse menu to NYC. There’s something or everybody at this Bajan staple.
The menu ranges from wings and pizza to burgers and rotis and we cant forget about the desert selection which includes brownie and strawberry cheesecake ice cream!
“This is the first time that Chefette will officially leave Barbados’ shores, so it is quite a significant event, and we are happy to be a part of this moment,” added Skeete.
Will you be among the first to experience Chefette on its maiden journey?
