If you’re craving a wintry outing, there are Central Park cabins (heated cabins) waiting to welcome guests. With an array of irresistible sweets and holiday lights sparkling in the distance, how could you say no?
Migrant Kitchen’s Winter Wonderland in Central Park is a worthy addition to your December calendar for many reasons, one being the delightful offerings. From apple empanada hand pies and holiday popcorn to buttered rum and a horchata latte, the migrant- influenced American cuisine appeals to all palettes. (And of course, hot chocolate is on the menu and highly recommended.)
But more heartwarming than the treats and the scenery is eatery’s mission: The Migrant Kitchen Initiative, the 501C3 arm of the Migrant Kitchen, fed over 5,000 folks this Thanksgiving across the city, with more meals coming this holiday season. Your holiday outing will contribute to the mission.
If you’re looking to walk out with a few stocking stuffers, you’re also in luck as, The Migrant Kitchen’s signature “whips” are available in fig, garlic, chili, and sumac. Additionally, shawarma spice mix, churro spice mix, and a signature holiday popcorn mix will also be up for grabs.
