An iconic, open–air celebration of Caribbean culture is headed to Times Square tomorrow, and it’s shaping up to be a can’t-miss event!
The annual Caribbean Fête (now in it’s 2nd year) transforms Broadway into a massive celebration for Caribbean-American Heritage Month.
Following a legendary, historic turnout last year that completely packed out the plaza, the event returns to the crossroads of the world for another high-energy cultural takeover.

Honoring Caribbean-American Heritage Month
Presented in partnership with TSQ Live (the Times Square Alliance’s free summer public performance series) and cultural venture I AM CARIBBEING, this $FREE.99 event serves as a joyful, high-profile celebration of the Caribbean diaspora’s profound contributions to New York City and global culture. Attendees are proudly encouraged to bring and wave their national flags to represent their heritage.
The driving force behind the fête, I AM CARIBBEING, is a multidisciplinary cultural venture rooted in Flatbush, Brooklyn, affectionately known as Little Caribbean.
Founded to amplify Caribbean culture, art, and lifestyle, the organization continues to be a crucial hub for supporting Caribbean-owned businesses and preserving the history of the diaspora in NYC and beyond.

A Heavy-Hitting 2026 Lineup
This year’s entertainment roster is dialing the energy up even higher than before.
- Walshy Fire: Globally recognized as one-third of the multi-platinum music powerhouse Major Lazer, the Jamaica-born DJ and producer will be at the controls. Expect a masterful mix of soca, dancehall, and global bass rhythms.
- Kevin Crown: Known for his unmatched crowd command and infectious energy, the renowned host and MC is returning to keep the vibes at peak level throughout the two-hour fête.
- Surprise Guest: Organizers have teased a massive surprise guest artist scheduled to take the stage—guaranteeing an unforgettable moment for the thousands in attendance.
Date, Time, and Location
The event takes place tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The open-air celebration will transform the Broadway Pedestrian Plaza between 45th and 46th Streets into a vibrant dance floor.
Because this is one of the most highly anticipated kick-offs for Caribbean-American Heritage Month, attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive early to secure a prime spot before the area hits capacity. Learn more on the event’s official page.
