Master pastry chef and chocolatier Jacques Torres is now giving classes in his New York City chocolate shop/museum. Stop by to learn about this Choco-Story!
New York’s first ever museum dedicated to chocolate, Choco-Story, is the place to learn about the history and traditions of chocolate and discover the truths about its journey from jungle to the table. The self guided tour of the museum features artifacts, chocolate (of course) and eight tastings of premium chocolates including Mayan hot chocolate. The French bon-bon making demonstration is also great for adult and child chocolate lovers alike!
Mr. Chocolate aka Jacques has eight chocolate shop locations across New York City from DUMBO to Grand Central. On Wednesdays through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, you can check out the hands on experience at the chocolate museum. It is taught by a professional chocolatier and museum goers have the chance to partake in a chocolate molding class, taste their handiwork and then of course, take their chocolate creations home!
