Us New Yorkers are used to seeing rats on the subway. As for bulls, not so much–but that has officially changed!
A bull was spotted running on the NJ Transit train tracks in Newark this morning, Thursday, December 14th, causing delays up to 45 minutes between Newark Penn and PSNY.
The reports first came in just after 10:30 a.m. at Newark Penn Station, though by 11 a.m. the bull was off the tracks. According to officials, the bull was last spotted on the street in a fenced-in parking lot before being captured.
As of 12:21 p.m., ABC 7 reports that the bull was tranquilized and captured safely. It will be retrieved and safeguarded by a local animal sanctuary.
No injuries were reported throughout the incident.
