Though recent weather—and even the latest groundhog predictions—may make this hard to believe, spring is on it’s way, and will be here in less than a month.
As warmer days, cherry blossoms, and all the sweet traditions that define our favorite city begin to beckon, it can be surprisingly hard to say goodbye to some of New York’s most beloved winter rituals, even if it’s only until next season. Case in point: this is your final week to head to Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park before it closes for the season.
Now in its 24th season, the winter village has once again transformed Bryant Park into a cold-weather wonderland, delivering magical moments from Christmas through Valentine’s Day—and even special experiences tied to this year’s Winter Olympics.
The festivities may be winding down, but it’s not over just yet. Guests have until Sunday, March 1st to savor their final sips of hot chocolate inside The Lodge and skate lap after lap around The Rink.
If cozy, private vibes are more your style, Rosy Igloos are available to book through Saturday, February 28th—perfect for an afternoon tea or a festive gathering with friends.
And for those who prefer a little more thrill on the ice (or who are admittedly a bit wobbly in skates), the Bumper Cars on Ice will also spin into spring hibernation on February 28th.
Whether it’s your first visit or your twentieth, these final days are a chance to soak up the winter wonderland atmosphere one last time. Glide across the ice at The Rink, lounge in The Lodge with a decadent hot chocolate from S’mores N’ More, or tuck into comfort-food favorites from vendors like Gnocchi on 9th and Spud Potato—just two of the 15+ food and beverage shops that have kept New Yorkers warm and well-fed all season long.
