In the words of the antithesis of Mariah Carey, it’s (not) tiiiiiime — not quite yet, anyway! We’re all for spooky season here, and we’re certainly not ones to rush through the seasons, especially when there’s scenic fall foliage to admire, Halloween candy to eat, and cozy sweaters to wear. But New Yorkers know that once October hits, the holiday season has a way of sneaking up on us. And one of the city’s most beloved winter destinations is already getting ready to welcome it back.
In just two weeks, Bryant Park will transform into a full-blown holiday wonderland once again, bringing back its annual Winter Village in the heart of Midtown. The massive seasonal market will fill the park with more than 170 shops, while the centerpiece of the festivities — a giant Christmas tree and the city’s iconic free ice-skating rink — return for another season.
Whether you’re looking to get a head start on holiday shopping, sip something festive while wandering through the market, lace up your skates, or simply soak up some quintessential New York Christmas vibes, Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is basically the city’s answer to stepping into a holiday movie.

☃️ What to See at Bryant Park Bank of America Winter Village
- The Rink: A massive 17,000-square-foot ice-skating rink nestled right under the Midtown skyline. It remains New York City’s only free-admission ice skating rink, making it a budget-friendly must-visit for locals and tourists alike.
- Holiday Shops by Urbanspace: Over 170 custom-designed “jewel box” kiosks winding along the park’s tree-lined allées and terraces. You’ll find unique gifts, handcrafted jewelry, artwork, and local gourmet provisions from artisans across NYC and around the globe.
- The Lodge Bar & Food Hall: An open-air, rinkside après-skate hangout where you can warm up with festive craft cocktails, craft beers, and comfort food dishes from local favorite vendors while watching skaters pass by.
- Cozy Igloos: Private, heated transparent domes steps from the ice where parties of up to 8 can enjoy seasonal food spreads and hot drinks in a personal winter bubble. (In early 2027, these undergo a romantic glow-up into “Rosy Igloos” just in time for Valentine’s season)!
