Wilklow Orchards is the Hudson Valley farm which produces the apples for Bad Seed’s hard ciders. Bad Seed Cider’s craft hard ciders have been featured at various GrownNYC Greenmarkets around the city. Now, they’ve opened their very first tap room in Crown Heights!
Bad Seed Taproom, on Franklin Avenue, has a wide variety of ciders to choose from “[w]ith 20 rotating taps—and more available by the bottle, including rare and sometimes Tap-Room-only releases.” Their opening date was October 20th, just in time for Cider Week NYC.

Along with their selection of craft ciders, Bad Seed will serve other New York craft beers, wines, and a range of other spirits. They will also feature games for entertainment, like the large Jenga set up in their backyard.

While the brand new space won’t serve any food, they do encourage you to bring in whatever you’d like, or order delivery to their location from the restaurants in the area.
