It’s almost that time of year again…Movies with A View is returning this summer for its 20th Anniversary. With a start date of July 11th, the schedule has finally been announced and can be found below.
If you’re an avid movie fanatic then chances are you know about Brooklyn Bridge Park’s summer program at Pier 1. Taking place every Thursday evening in July and August on Harbor View Lawn, what better way to enjoy a cozy summer night in the city as you gaze upon the East River and Manhattan skyline. Following the tradition, the 2019 theme is “Better the Second Time Around” meaning the scheduled movies include favorites that have been played over the years.
The evenings begin at 6pm with a DJ set (new DJ every night), short film curated by BAMcinématek and food options including burgers, pizza, ice cream and wine from Smorgasburg. The movies start at sundown, so make sure you come with enough time to snag a good spot before it gets too crowded.
