From hanging out under the stunning Luminaries to Selfies with Santa for the kids and more, Brookfield Place is your go-to spot for holiday activities and shopping. The complex is located at 230 Vesey Street, in Lower Manhattan, along the waterfront.
Luminaries is a returning installation which consists of 640 twinkling lanterns that change in color. Access to the display is free to the public and on view through January 6.
Be sure to interact with the installation through January 1, as Brookfield Place will donate $1 for every interaction, up to $25,000, to the GO Project to help NYC public school students.
Throughout the season, when you visit BFPL you will enter a “Winter Wanderland” presented by theSkimm which includes a life-sized snow globe, an arctic tunnel and a place to share a cute holiday message with friends and family. From December 11-17th, there will be treats and surprises on deck!
Speaking of winter wonderland, Santa Claus will also be in the house! Until Dec. 24, kids can snap a photo with jolly Ol’ St. Nick himself. There will be crafts, candy canes and lots of holiday cheer. Check out the schedule here for more information on available dates and times.
After a busy morning of working or shopping, every Wednesday throughout December, you can unwind during your lunch break with a limited concert series called Holiday Harmonies!
