October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. Year after year we stand as allies in solidarity with those who have been or know someone who has been impacted by breast cancer, and this year isn’t any different.
Here are 11 events and specials throughout NYC you can enjoy this month to show your support in the fight against breast cancer:
1. Head to The Pink Agenda’s Annual Gala
The Pink Agenda (TPA) is a nonprofit organization committed to raising money for breast cancer research and awareness of the disease among young professionals. And, as part of their fundraising efforts, they’ll be hosting their Annual Gala in NYC this month!
The gala is the perfect reason to dress up, celebrate research progress, honor those affected by the disease, and raise hell to help make breast cancer history! Learn more and grab tickets here.

2. Indulge in weekly happy hours featuring pink cocktails, Cabaret nights, exciting giveaways, & more at the Algonquin Hotel
The Algonquin Hotel’s legendary Blue Bar is turning PINK in honor of October Breast Cancer Awareness Month! The hotel is honoring the month with weekly happy hours from 5-8 p.m., featuring specialty pink cocktails, Broadway performers, Cabaret nights, exciting giveaways, and more.
During each Pink Happy Hour, the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Find the full list of events here.

3. Dig into a pink menu of bites at NYC’s Pink Taco
In spirit of breast cancer awareness month, Pink Taco is inviting New Yorkers to indulge in a PinkTac’tober menu featuring all pink menu items like fan-favorites, Something Pink Margarita, OG Pink Tacos, delectable Lobster Enchiladas, and Pink Taco Sundae.
For every PinkTac’Tober menu dine, 5% of proceeds will be donated back to Breastcancer.org. The PinkTac’o O’tober menu will be available October 1st -31st, in support of breast health.

4. Round up the total of your order at maman for The Tutu Project
NYC’s beloved French Bakery and Café has teamed up with The Tutu Project for the month of October to support the non-profit’s remarkable work in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Guests can round up the total of their drink or food order to donate the additional proceeds to The Tutu Project.
Additionally, in-stores, maman will be using pink lids on all 12oz. & 16 oz. to-go cups for hot drinks, and each lid will include a sticker with a QR code leading to The Tutu Project’s website for additional donations.

5. Dine at Philippe Chow Downtown on their Breast Cancer Awareness night
Famed restaurant Philippe Chow Downtown will be hosting a special Breast Cancer Awareness night with 5% of the total revenue for the evening going directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Unlike a ticketed fundraiser, anyone dining at Philippe Chow Downtown this night will be automatically contributing to this cause.
The restaurant will also be donating 15% of proceeds from its perfectly pink Strawberry Lychee Martini to the BCRF throughout all of October at both Upper East Side and Downtown locations.

6-11. Raise a glass & sip in solidarity (on pink cocktails!)
Dedicated to raising awareness and support for this crucial cause, spots all around NYC are donating proceeds from specially crafted cocktails to various Breast Cancer research and initiatives. Some of these include:

The renowned rooftop lounge will donate a portion of its proceeds from its Longevity cocktail, a spirit-forward, feminine, and floral martini made with sake, Old Duff Genever, Pellehaut Blanche Armagnac infused with toasted coconut, rose gin, and rose water mist. Proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Industry Kitchen’s limited-time cocktail, the Sunset Skyline, is a specialty pink beverage integrating sweet, seasonal ingredients like pomegranate liqueur, agave, Tito’s Vodka, and lemon juice. Proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Through October, Mezze on the River will offer the Santorini Spritz, a fruit-forward, bubbly cocktail combining rosé, prosecco, club soda, grenadine, and fresh cherry. Proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

$1 dollar of each TiNiJuana cocktail purchased will be donated to Breast Cancer Alliance.

12. Munch on delicious pink treats from Tao Hospitality Group
This October, Tao Group Hospitality will be joining in the fight against breast cancer nationwide, and all month long they’ll be donating 10% of sales of select menu items sold at their restaurants American Cancer Society Making Strides Walk.
