In the survey real-estate professionals chose their picks for the hottest neighborhoods in 2017. East New York was picked as the hottest up-and-coming neighborhood by 11% of respondents.The rationale behind the result seems to have a lot to do with the neighborhoods affordable housing development that is already underway. The transit-rich area has an average sales price lower than half that of other areas of brooklyn, like Bed Stuy.
