
It’s conference tournament week in men’s college basketball, and that means the Big East Tournament is returning to Madison Square Garden!
Ahead of Selection Sunday coming up this weekend for the at-large March Madness tournament, the Big East Conference’s best teams will duke it out starting Wednesday for the title of conference champion.
All of the conference’s teams will be playing, including NYC’s own St. John’s, Creighton, Connecticut, and many more.
We’ve put together all of the essential you’ll need for this year’s tournament including the bracket, schedule and ticket info.

Some notable details in this year’s Big East bracket include NYC’s very own St. John’s Red Storm taking the #1 seed!
In a historic season for the program under the leadership of head coach Rick Pitino, St. John’s claimed the highest seed in the Big East tournament for the first time since 1986.
Other seeds of note include the back-to-back national champion Connecticut Huskies locking up the #3 seed and coach Shaka Smart’s Marquette Golden Eagles taking the #5 seed.

How to get tickets to the Big East tournament
Tickets for this year’s Big East tournament are available for purchase now, and they work on a day / night pass system.
For example, Wednesday’s tripleheader of games are all lumped together into one ticket price, with games starting at 4 pm.
Thursday’s 4 games are split into two doubleheader passes (day games starting at 12 pm and night games starting at 7 pm)
Friday’s semi-final doubleheader are lumped together and Saturday’s final is standalone.
