It’s officially March and you know what that means…March Madness time.
The beloved college basketball tournament is set to kick off soon and it’s nearly time to take in all of the Cinderella stories, bracket busting upsets, and buzzer beaters that we can.
Here in NYC, many of our favorite sports bars are gearing up for the occasion with incredible viewing parties, craft beer and food deals, and high-energy atmospheres.

March Madness Game Times & How to Stream
March Madness games are typically spread out across the day with the most being early on the tournament. Games will typically start around noon and go all the way throughout the night into evening prime-time games around 7 / 8 pm.
This year’s March Madness tournament will once again see coverage from the CBS family of networks including CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV.
Brookfield Place
Stop by Brookfield Place from March 16 – 23 to play Hot Shots, a FREE and interactive ‘pop–a–shot’ game series for all ages. All throughout the first two rounds of the tournament, New Yorkers can show off their basketball skills in the Winter Garden and watch the games on the big screens in Hudson Eats.

Treadwell Park
Complete with 20 flat-screen TVs, interactive games, and an expansive beverage menu featuring 20 rotating craft beers, ciders, and artisanal cocktails…Treadwell Park is where to be in March.
Throughout the tournament, both locations will be streaming the entire NCAA tournament. They also recently just launched a brand new craft burger menu ahead of the tourney which features mouthwatering favorites like The Gringo Loco (jalapeño cheese popper, pepper jack, tequila flamed onions, candied bacon) and The French Dip (caramelized onion, black pepper aioli, gruyere, crispy onion, au jus sauce).

The Standard Biergarten
Watch March Madness and shoot hoops on The Biergarten’s very own basketball hoop for a chance to win a free Brauhaus. Of course all the games will be shown on TVs at The Standard’s famous bar, with plenty of beers, bites, and brats!
The way the hoop shot works: $5 for 5 shots – Make 3/5 get free 16 oz beer, make 5/5 get free 24 oz beer.

O’Toole’s Way
This Hudson Yards bar is serving March Madness specials all month long, including corned beef sliders, Celtic knots, Irish spice bag, slow braised corned beef, and traditional Irish coffee.

Bronx Brewery
The Bronx Brewery hosts trivia nights on Tuesday nights through March, with all participants receiving $5 off select draft pours. The games will of course be on during trivia, and prizes are awarded for first, second, and third place!

Ana Bar & Eatery
There’s plenty of March Madness deals happening at Ana Bar & Eatery this month, including $6 canned beers, $8 spritzers, $8 wines by the glass, and $10 specialty cocktails.
