
Everything’s getting more expensive these days, and college is simply no different!
A new ranking by Princeton Review recently released, highlighting the “Best Value Colleges” in the country—determining which schools offer its students the best bang for their buck.
Amongst the rankings, which came in the form of Top 50 public colleges and Top 50 private colleges lists, the publication created its results based on key factors associated with a higher education experience like quality of academics, tuition prices, financial aid and career prospects for graduates.
Of the combined 100 “Best Value Colleges,” 10 different New York State schools made the list. Check them all out below:

The “best value” public colleges in New York
- SUNY Binghamton – 16th Place
- Baruch College – 19th Place
- Stony Brook University – 26th Place
- Hunter College – 44th Place
The “best value” private colleges in New York
- Columbia University – 6th Place
- Cornell University – 12th Place
- The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art – 20th Place
- Colgate University – 32nd Place:
- Union College – 39th Place
- Barnard College – 49th Place
