Scientists aren’t known for their sense of humor, but leave it to NYC to bring the funny in the name of a good cause. Here are our favorite signs from Saturday’s “March for Science.”
Saturdays March for Science in New York was only one of 600 rallies in support of scientists, science and their role in society. Although the march organizers were clear about the gathering not being a protest, many took it upon themselves to inject a little political commentary into their signs.
Many marchers focused on the new direction of the Environmental Protection Agency and its current director, Scott Pruitt, as well as President Trump’s proposed funding cuts across all spheres of scientific research.
Here’s a collection of out favorite signs from NYC’s March. Enjoy.
