Summer’s calling, and you look like you could use a getaway.
Now that USA Today has crowned the best new hotel in the U.S. — which just so happens to be a beach-lover’s paradise — what’s stopping you from planning a weekend trip? It’s time to put that PTO to good use, after all.
Should you be in the market for sun, sand, and surf, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about the buzziest new vacation spot.
This Jersey Shore spot is named the best new hotel in the U.S.
Madison Resort at Wildwood Crest is gaining plenty of traction this summer, particularly now that July and OOO opportunities are upon us.
From its picturesque pool with pink and white cabanas, indulgent selections from its restaurant, Vinyl — smash burgers and root beer floats, anyone? — to the refreshing coastal vibe in each room, Madison Resort essentially screams “summer”. Plus, being stationed next to the Garden State’s best beach and the best boardwalk in the entire country certainly doesn’t hurt, either.

While it certainly can be a relaxing getaway — we have summer beach reads to recommend if you’re going the low-key route — Madison Resort also offers plenty of packages to keep guests busy. Thanks to a partnership with East Coast Watersports, parasailing, jet skiing, paddle boarding and more aquatic adventures are on tap.
If you’re not planning any fast-paced activities, that’s OK, too. The hotel also offers fun specials, including a beer lovers package with the Cape May Brewing Company, tastings from Cape May Winery, and a good one for the kiddos: wristband and waterpark admission to Morey’s Piers.
Rooms in Ocean Tower start at $109 per night. Rooms in the Royal Tower — the family-friendly option for the two — start at $189 per night. The latter of the two has new, fully renovated rooms and a refinished pool deck, should that sway your decision.

While we’ll admit, we NYers are not always willing to give Jersey its time in the spotlight, we’d be remiss if we didn’t recommend a weekend in Wildwood.
