Calling all Banksy fans! Tickets are available for the first of a handful of showings of the film “Banksy Most Wanted” happening on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. The movie will be shown at the Banksy: Building Castles in the Sky Exhibition located at 250 Bowery in Manhattan.
The film ticket is included in the adult admission ticket but only for select days, including October 18, 25 and November 1.
“Banksy Most Wanted” is a documentary written and directed by French filmmakers Seamus Haley, Aurélia Rovier and Laurent Richard. At the first screening on October 11, Haley will be present at the showing.
Sometimes referred to as the “Robinhood” of the art world, little is known about the Bristol-born artist. The documentary explores his art but also asks “Who is Banksy?” How could this person be so famous and yet so hidden simultaneously?
The specific days of screenings are during October 11, 18, 25 and on November 1. Admission to the film is included in the admission ticket, which is $30.00 per person for adults. There are discounts available for students, senior citizens, miltary and group bundles.
The thought-provoking exhibit Banksy: Building Castles in the Sky Exhibition will only be around until the end of the year, until December 31. It showcases the unpredictable art that stopped us in our tracks and scenes that have popped up on walls, bridges and sidewalks throughout the years!
