SoHo’s Iconic French Brasserie Balthazar Will Finally Reopen

The famous French brasserie, Balthazar, has finally announced they’ll be reopening later this month!

After nearly a year being boarded up, many (myself included) were beginning to wonder if they’d ever again be able to slide into one of Balthazar’s iconic red booths—and thankfully, as of Wednesday, March 24, the answer will be: YES!

Restauranteur Keith McNally recently shared with Eater that both the bakery and restaurant will open on the same day, with an outdoor dining area that’ll seat an exciting 102 guests! That’s in addition to 35 percent of their indoor dining space, of course.

Balthazar also took to Instagram to announce their partnership with Amex and Resy for Outdoor Villages, which gives Amex Platinum card members exclusive access to outdoor dining reservations across roughly 30 restaurants in NYC!

Keep an eye out for those reservation openings!
