Stones fans, an unexpected trip to the ballet may be in order.
A collaboration between McJagger and his girlfriend, ballerina Melanie Hamrick has resulted in a ballet spectacular for the ages. According to Page Six, the Rolling Stones ballet production, which features songs curated by McJagger himself, will premiere this March at a ballet festival in St. Petersburg, Russia and will then make its way to the U.S. for its debut on April 18 at Lincoln Center.
Songs such as “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” “Paint It Black” and “She’s a Rainbow” will form a part of the show. Two days after the ballet debut, the Rolling Stones will embark on their “No Filter” tour across the country, starting off in Florida. Later on in the year, they will be making their way to the MetLife Stadium to give a concert in New Jersey in summer 2019.
