Avengers Endgame Release Date
April 26th is the official US release date, marking the 11th year anniversary since the very first Iron Man started this multi-billion dollar Marvel movie franchise. Showing at all AMC cinemas across NYC, we’ve also got some tickets lined up just for you.
The final showdown with Thanos has slowly been building up over the Avengers series, coming to a definitive head in the previous movie, Infinity War. After the super villain finally collects all infinity rings and wipes half the earth’s population (including quite a few of our fave Avengers), the O.G remaining heroes have to work together to take him down!
Avengers Endgame: What We Know
Still standing after the extinction are Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Nebula, Rocket, Antman, Hulk, and newly-summoned Captain Marvel. In celebrity terms, they translate as – respectively – Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr. (reportedly making his final Marvel appearance), Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, and Brie Larson, along with Josh Brolin as Thanos. That’s not even touching on those lost in the first film, with received wisdom indicating they’ll make an appearance before the credits roll; in any event, it’s a massive, star-studded cast.
