Arts District is an experiential arts venue that’s coming to Brooklyn’s Greenpoint area this summer, taking over a reclaimed warehouse along the East River. The new arts hub is already set to feature globally recognized experiences, and will feature the US premiere of the installation “Limitless AI” by artists Ferdi & Eylul Alici – designed to expand your imagination and fuel your curiosity.
“Limitless AI” takes you on a journey that examines the soul and consciousness of human beings through the innovative lens of AI. It’s an astonishing poetic experience told in five chapters through enveloping 360º projections and cutting-edge sound design over a 10,000 square-foot space.
In addition to “Limitless AI,” Arts District will also premiere two other mind-bending experiences titled “Flight” and “Séance” for the first time in the US. For each of these you’ll step into a 40-foot shipping container of utter darkness. According to the announcement, these will both be “deeply intense, immersive, audio experiences that blend theatre, technology, and 360-degree sound.”
One will take thrill-seekers on a life-changing flight through alternate dimensions and outcomes – without ever leaving the ground; the other will transport you to a Victorian seance room for a spine-chilling auditory adventure.
And to realign with reality after a wild journey of the senses, you’ll be able to hang out at the venue and enjoy food, drink and their open-air patio area that’ll be perfect for the summer months.
