New York City does Halloween at a scale that no one can match, and that includes the party scene celebrating.
The city’s 53-year-old Village Halloween Parade may still own October 31, but the parties happening around it are getting bigger, stranger, and more over-the-top by the year.
From all-night warehouse raves and sky-high dancefloors to vampire balls, secret-lineup festivals, haunted rooftops, Broadway singalongs, and horror bookstores transformed into dark carnivals, there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate spooky season after dark.
We’ve rounded up all of the best parties to put on your radar so you can start planning now!
Circoloco New York 2026

Ibiza’s most legendary Monday-night party is closing out Brooklyn’s biggest industrial rave venue in style, and it’s doing it with three nights instead of one.
CircoLoco was born in 1999 at DC10, the famed after-hours club next to Ibiza’s airport, and has spent 25-plus years becoming one of underground dance music’s most influential exports, the kind of party that’s launched the careers of names like Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, and Black Coffee. It first landed in New York in 2016 and has been a fixture of the city’s Halloween weekend ever since.
This year’s edition takes over Brooklyn Storehouse at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for three full events, October 30 and 31, and a November 1 closing — teaming up with promoter Teksupport for what’s being billed as the venue’s final programmed events before it closes for good.
Night one brings Beltran, Mochakk, Rampa, &Me, Carlita, and Seth Troxler, while Halloween night itself hands the decks to ANOTR, Dixon, Jimi Jules, and Rossi., among others. Day/Night 3 runs from noon – 12 am for the Sunday, and includes Prospa, Bedouin, Chloe Caillet, and more.
Tickets for Friday/Saturday are sold out as of now, with Sunday tickets still available!

Halloween Weekend at Pacha New York

New York City’s hottest new dance music venue is getting ready to wrap their inaugural season under the cherries with a huge bang!
Pacha New York opened this past June in East Williamsburg, marking the legendary Ibiza brand’s first NYC chapter since its original Hell’s Kitchen outpost closed back in 2016.
Welcoming some of EDM’s biggest names like Solomun, Michael Bibi, John Summit, and many more, they have a full slate of Halloween events ready to go before its outdoor section closes for the season.
The lineup for all three nights: Vintage Culture kicks things off Thursday, October 29, Kaytranada takes Halloween Eve on Friday, October 30, and Purple Disco Machine closes out the weekend on Halloween night itself, Saturday, October 31, bringing his signature disco-house sound home to the cherries’ dancefloor.

Not every Halloween party needs a DJ booth!
This one hands the stage to Broadway voices instead, and turns four decades of Madonna’s catalog into a costume-clad singalong.
Broadway Sings® Madonna takes over The Cutting Room in Midtown for a 65-to-75-minute tribute production featuring Broadway and TV performers backed by a live band. The setlist spans Madonna’s full arc, from Holiday and Borderline through Vogue, Like a Prayer, Frozen, and Music, essentially a career-spanning victory lap through one of pop’s most influential discographies.
Costumes are actively encouraged here, with a live Best Costume contest built into the night, so cone bras, Blond Ambition-era looks, or any Madonna era you want to channel are all fair game.
Add-ons range from a $100 private pre-show soundcheck experience to $300 live song dedications, for anyone looking to make the night more personal. Worth noting: this is a tribute production, not affiliated with or endorsed by Madonna herself!
The Vampire Ball at Industry City

If your idea of a Halloween party involves fangs, a literal blood rave, and dungeon-dwelling dommes, this is the one skipping straight to the top of your list.
The Vampire Ball is the brainchild of House of Yes, Brooklyn’s reigning kings and queens of theatrical, immersive nightlife, working alongside executive producer David Kiss, who’s been the creative force behind the event since 2024.
What started as a single-night gathering has grown into a full two-night takeover of Industry City’s sprawling Sunset Park warehouse complex, transformed into a seven-stage “macabre music and arts festival” complete with cemetery-themed installations, burlesque cabaret, and a Cursed Potion Bar.
This year’s edition runs Friday, October 30 (billed as “Mischief Night”) and Saturday, October 31.
Just announced, this year’s lineup is stacked with underground names like Eli Escobar, Wreckno, Moore Kismet, Todd Edwards and LSDXOXO, alongside a live vampire band, roughly 30 dancers, and multiple burlesque performances spread across the venue’s massive industrial floor plan.
🧛 Tickets for The Vampire Ball night 1 can be purchased here, and night 2 here!
Purgatory at Refuge

Six parties. Four days. No way out. That’s not marketing hyperbole, it’s a full-blown Halloween marathon at one of NYC’s hottest new clubs.
Refuge in East Williamsburg just celebrated its 1 year anniversary, and it’s quickly built a reputation as one of the city’s most serious rooms for sound: a 500-capacity space anchored by a custom 4-point analog sound system and a specialized floating dance floor built for marathon sets.
For Halloween, the venue is turning that reputation into Purgatory, a four-day, six-party stretch running October 29 through November 1.
The lineup leans heavily into underground dance music royalty. Thursday night pairs salute with Stacey Pullen, Friday brings Robag Wruhme, Saturday’s headline slot goes to Nicole Moudaber, and the marathon doesn’t stop there: an early Saturday morning session hands the decks to Victor Calderone and Anthony Middleton for a 6am-to-6pm set stretching straight into Sunday, followed by a Sunday daytime closer featuring Serge Devant and Vanjee.
If you’re brave enough to pop in, you might not be able to get out!
Elsewhere Halloween
Elsewhere is splitting its Halloween celebration across two separate nights this year, and the lineup is stacked enough to justify going both.
Thursday, October 29 belongs to Out & Abt, a queer-focused club with a special Halloween theme, kicking off the spooky weekend ahead.
Then Halloween night itself, Saturday, October 31, transforms the entire space for Elsewhere Halloween, split across two programs: The Hall hosts a live bill around 7 pm featuring Cannelle, EQ (making their NYC debut), Tommy Fleece, and Corridos Ketamina, while the club-focused Full Venue lineup brings in Major League DJz, SAIDAH, D Stone, Ariel Lights, and Sissy Elliott later on and deep into the night.
Nebula Halloween Weekend

Nebula is turning Halloween into a two-night event, and the two parties couldn’t feel more different from each other.
Friday, October 30 is Nebula Halloween: Costume Contest & Cash Prizes, a straight-up party night built around competition, with real money on the line for the best look in the room.
Then Saturday, October 31, the club hands its Times Square dancefloor to Dutch DJ duo Lucas & Steve, who bring nearly a billion combined Spotify streams and two 100-million-plus records to headline Halloween night itself.
🎃 Tickets for Friday’s costume contest event can be found here, and Satuday’s Lucas & Steve headline show here
Halloween Night at Marquee Skydeck

There’s no shortage of rooftop parties in New York, but only one puts you on a dancefloor 1,100 feet above Manhattan.
Marquee Skydeck, Tao Group Hospitality’s rooftop nightlife takeover at Edge, the highest indoor/outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, closes out its season with a Halloween Night headlined by Bob Sinclar, the French house and electro veteran behind decades of dancefloor staples.
The 100th-floor venue at Hudson Yards has spent its season hosting names like CamelPhat, Claptone, and Diplo, and this Halloween date marks the finale before the pop-up wraps for the year.
Expect the same format that’s defined the series all season: a curated cocktail and food program, 360-degree skyline views, and Marquee’s signature high-production sound and lighting, all set against the city itself as a backdrop.
Entry is by table reservation or general admission, and guests should use the dedicated Marquee Skydeck entrance on Hudson Boulevard, not the standard Edge entrance.
The Twisted Spine’s Dark Carnival

Many Halloween parties happen at bars or aves, but this one happens inside a horror bookstore, and it might be the most theatrical night of the bunch.
The Twisted Spine, NYC’s first bookstore dedicated entirely to horror and dark fiction, opened in Williamsburg last fall and has spent the past year building a cult following for its ceramic-skull cappuccinos, fireplace reading nooks, and packed calendar of tarot readings and horror movie nights.
For its first-ever Halloween party, the shop is going all in on a Dark Carnival theme, transforming its 1,500-square-foot space into a big top circus tent for one night only.
The lineup of acts reads like a genuine sideshow: burlesque from Maggie McMuffin, sword swallowing courtesy of Faxtra Larq, face painting and performance art from Bruises, magic from Darrious Joyner, and circus games hosted by Sir Cuss.
The shop’s full liquor license will be in play too, with specialty cocktails built for the occasion!

City of Gods Halloween

The best Halloween party in NYC doesn’t actually take place on Halloween!
City of Gods is now in its eighth year, and it’s less a party than an entire fabricated world. Co-created by House of Yes and ZERO, the festival transforms two massive warehouse buildings and an adjoining courtyard at Industry City, over 137,000 square feet in total, into a Burning Man-in-Brooklyn experience spanning 10 stages of music and an endless maze of interactive art, shrines, and sanctuaries.
Many of the stages are hosted by actual Burning Man sound camps, past years have included names like DISTRIKT, Mayan Warrior, Pink Mammoth, and Kostume Kult, each bringing their own sonic identity to the festival, and a portion of every ticket sold gets donated back to those camps’ nonprofit organizations.
At the center of it all sits the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, built in collaboration with visionary artists Alex and Allyson Grey, offering a meditative, psychedelic counterpoint to the party surrounding it.
True to form, the music lineup is kept entirely secret. There’s no set schedule to chase, just a labyrinth of spaces meant to be wandered through on instinct. Costumes are mandatory, and past attendees have gone all out, this is the kind of crowd that treats the runway-style costume contest as a real competition, with genuine prizes on the line.
Add in a Moonshine Speakeasy, a Karnival Row of oddball activities, and eight full bars running from 9 pm to 5 am, and the two nights blur together into something closer to a mini-festival than a club night.

Lyra Halloween at Magic Hour Rooftop
Halloween weekend is going sky-high at Magic Hour Rooftop, where two nights of DJs, costumes, and Empire State Building views take over the 18th floor of Moxy Times Square.
Lyra transforms the rooftop into a haunted, high-altitude dance party on both Friday, October 30 and Halloween night itself, Saturday, October 31. The setup splits the venue into two distinct music zones, so you can bounce between open-format sets with throwbacks, Top 40, and house remixes in one space, then house, tech, Afro, minimal, and more underground-leaning remixes in the other.
The real draw is the setting: the Empire State Building practically fills the view, the rooftop’s retractable roof keeps the party weather-flexible, and table service is available for groups looking to upgrade from general admission. Costumes are required!
Tickets can be purchased for Friday night here and Saturday night here!
Danny Tenaglia’s Boo Yourself
Halloween starts early for the old-school house heads: Danny Tenaglia’s legendary Boo Yourself party returns to New York for the first time since its original Pacha NYC-era run.
The Grammy-nominated NYC nightlife icon takes over The Room at Superior Ingredients on Saturday, October 24 for what’s designed to be a proper extended dancefloor journey, not a quick headline set. Expect Tenaglia to move freely through the sounds that made his marathon club nights famous: classic house, heavy percussion, tribal rhythms, disco, techno, soulful selections, and left-field throwbacks, with enough time for the set to actually go somewhere.
Boo Yourself has long been one of Tenaglia’s signature Halloween traditions, built around costumes and an audience that comes to dance rather than pose.
👻 Ticket information for Danny Tenaglia’s Boo Yourself event can be found here!
All Hallows’ Eve at Cipriani Wall Street

E11EVEN and Cipriani are returning to the landmark halls of Cipriani Wall Street for one lavish night of dark glamour, theatrical spectacle, and late-night house music.
All Hallows’ Eve transforms the historic Wall Street space into an immersive, high-production party centered on “dark glamour, seduction, and intrigue.” Expect theatrical performers, dramatic lighting, full-scale sound and production, and a crowd encouraged to dress with intention—think costumes with actual glamour, not last-minute drugstore looks.
The headliner has not yet been announced, but organizers are teasing a Grammy-nominated global house artist with billions of streams, multi-platinum records, and Ibiza-to-mainstage credentials.
Between the Cipriani setting and E11EVEN’s nightlife production pedigree, this is shaping up to be one of the more elevated, table-service-friendly Halloween parties on the calendar. Entry is 21+ and ticket holders need to arrive before midnight; after that, guests may have to pay the difference between their ticket tier and the current door price.
👻 Ticket information for All Hallows’ Eve can be found here!
Project 91 Halloween Takeover
Why settle on one Halloween party when you can pick from 21 events across 14 Manhattan and Brooklyn venues? Project 91 is essentially turning the entire weekend into a choose-your-own-costume-nightlife adventure.
Running Friday, October 30 through Saturday, October 31, the electronic-music promoter’s Halloween Weekend ’26 takeover spans rooftops, warehouses, courthouses, lounges, and clubs, with a lineup that includes Emmit Fenn, Dan Molinari, Distant Matter, Sistek, HILLS, Rivo, and more.
Of the highlights, the historic Chambers Street Courthouse hosts Distant Matter on Friday and Charly Jordan on Saturday, Superior Ingredients gets a two-floor Rivo day-and-night takeover.
Azure Presents Halloween Weekend
Azure is giving Brooklyn Halloween a split personality this year: a three-stage Williamsburg hotel takeover for anyone who wants to move between entirely different worlds, plus a separate warehouse-style night with Bakermat at The Chocolate Factory.
The main event is As Above So Below, running at Arlo Williamsburg on both Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31. Each night turns the hotel into three distinct party concepts under one roof, from rooftop views to late-night dancefloor energy, with costumes very much part of the assignment. Surf Mesa headlines Friday’s edition, while Wes Mills leads the Halloween-night takeover, which also advertises an open-bar option for early arrivals.
For a more stripped-back club option, Azure brings Dutch producer Bakermat to The Chocolate Factory in Brooklyn on Saturday, October 31. The saxophone-laced house hitmaker behind “One Day (Vandaag)” and “Teach Me” plays from 9 pm to 4 am, giving the night a warm, danceable counterpoint to all the ghosts and gore happening elsewhere.
Spell On You at Virgin Hotels New York City

Tarot cards, cocktails, and a costume contest with prizes: Virgin Hotels New York City is leaning all the way into its witchy side this Halloween.
“Spell On You” transforms Everdene, the hotel’s third-floor restaurant and bar, into a candlelit party with DJ sets, tarot readings, and a Potion Bar pouring Halloween-themed cocktails. Its terrace overlooks the skyline, giving you somewhere to show off your costume between trips to the dance floor!
Tickets start at $32 with a one-hour open bar or $54 with two hours, so choose your package rather than expecting unlimited drinks all night. And when the Everdene party wraps at midnight, you don’t have to call it: the afterparty continues downstairs at The Riff Raff Club until 2 am.
