VITAL Climbing Gym ist ein 24-Stunden-Kletterstudio mit zwei Standorten in New York City, einem in Brooklyn und einem in Manhattan. Der Standort in Brooklyn befindet sich in Williamsburg, der Standort in Manhattan in der Upper East Side. Trotz des Namens befindet sich der New Yorker Standort eigentlich in Queens, nachdem die in Seattle ansässige Kette The Bouldering Project den ursprünglichen Standort in Gowanus gekauft hat. Die Anlage verfügt über 25.000 Quadratmeter Kletterwände, die von Graffiti und Kunstwerken lokaler Kreativer umgeben sind. Die Mitglieder haben Zugang zu einem hochmodernen Fitnessraum mit Kursen für Yoga, hochintensives Intervalltraining und Klettern. 6. Manhattan Plaza Health Club Klettersporthalle, Midtown
Der Manhattan Plaza Health Club ist ein voll ausgestattetes Fitnesscenter in Hell’s Kitchen mit vielen gut gepflegten Einrichtungen, darunter ein Schwimmbad, ein Spa, ein Tennisplatz, eine Sonnenterrasse und eine Kletterhalle. Die 5.000 Quadratmeter große Kletterhalle bietet anspruchsvolle Wände und Parcours, die für Kletterer zugänglich sind. 7. Central Rock Gym, Upper West Side
Das Central Rock Gym ist eine Kletterhalle in der Upper West Side, nur ein paar Blocks vom Columbus Circle entfernt. Die Anlage bietet über 225.000 Quadratmeter Kletterfläche und über 2.000 verschiedene Bouldermuster, die die Kletterer lösen können. Die Central Rock-Kette begann in Massachusetts, breitete sich aber später nach New York aus und wurde zu einem der beliebtesten Ziele für Indoor-Klettern in Manhattan. Die Mitglieder haben Zugang zu den 40 Fuß hohen Kletterwänden mit über 30 Seilrouten und einem angrenzenden Fitnessbereich, in dem sie ihre Muskeln trainieren können.

8. GP81, Greenpoint
GP81 ist eine Indoor-Kletterhalle an der Uferpromenade in Greenpoint. Mit über 7.000 Quadratmetern Kletterfläche und schrägen Wänden in einem Winkel von 15, 45 und 60 Grad gehören die Felswände im GP81 zu den einzigartigsten und anspruchsvollsten in ganz New York. 10. Bewegung Gowanus, Gowanus
Das Movement Gowanus, das früher unter dem Namen The Cliffs at Gowanus bekannt war, ist die größte Kletterhalle in New York City. In der 36.000 Quadratmeter großen Anlage gibt es über 300 verschiedene Top-Rope-, Kletter- und Boulder-Probleme, die sich auf drei riesige Etagen verteilen.
