O mais recente enclave cultural a surgir em Nova York é “Little Paris” e, embora ainda não seja oficialmente oficial (ainda é preciso enviar uma petição ao Community Board 2 para que seja renomeado), sua popularidade está crescendo. A iniciativa foi originalmente iniciada por Léa e Marianne Perret, fundadoras da Coucou French Classes, mas agora também recebeu o apoio de outros empresários locais. Há até placas pintadas à mão enfeitando a rua!
Embora a parte principal do bairro seja destacada como Centre Street entre Broome e Grand St., há muitas outras empresas francesas a poucos passos de distância.

- Maman (239 Centre St.): Essa padaria e restaurante francês tem várias unidades em Nova York, e seu lindo local no SoHo fica bem no coração de “Little Paris”. Esse também foi seu primeiro local! 3. Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels (249 Centre St.): O que seria de Little Paris sem um lugar para saborear uma taça de vinho à noite? É aí que entra a Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, com aconchegantes assentos internos e espaçosos assentos externos. Desfrute de uma ampla variedade de garrafas e taças (incluindo brancos, tintos, rosés, espumantes, laranjas e até mesmo opções sem álcool), além de um cardápio simples, mas de dar água na boca, com saladas, massas, tartare e cheesecake.

Diptyque (31 Prince St.): Você provavelmente já ouviu falar da Diptyque por causa de suas velas adoradas por blogueiros e gurus do estilo de vida, e esta pode ser a oportunidade perfeita para se presentear e trazer para casa os cheiros de Paris.
