Mother Nature has been going a bit crazy lately, what with the 4.8 magnitude earthquake that rattled NYC last Friday and yesterday’s rare total solar eclipse (were you in a non-cloudy area and got to see it?!)
Tack onto that the fact that last week was pretty cold, rainy, and miserable and, yeah–our start to spring has been less than ideal. But good news New Yorkers–today’s temperatures are going to hit 75º!
According to AccuWeather, today is set to be the “nicest day of the week,” with the weather bringing us some warmth and sunshine. And the UV index is supposed to reach a 7, which is considered high, so make sure you put on your sunscreen!
Unfortunately the sunshine will be a bit short lived, as beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, April 10th, we’ll be hit with three days straight of rain. Buttt at least by Saturday, April 13th, the clouds will (mostly) clear and we’ll get some moderately warm temperatures (55º) and partly sunny skies.
You know what that means, New Yorkers: get outside today and take advantage of everything going on this week in NYC!
