Much like 7-Eleven locations, the 7NOW delivery app will bring customers in Manhattan and Brooklyn anything they need, at any time of day.
Last minute six-pack for the party? Check. Midnight snack? Check. Morning gatorade and Advil to cure that hangover? Check and check. The 7NOW app will actually deliver all of these items to you around the clock.
Although the app was rolled out earlier this year, it hadn’t made it’s way to NYC until now. Just like other delivery apps in the city, 7NOW will locate a 7-Eleven near you and show you a list of what is available at that store. All snacks, beverages, household items, and over-the-counter medicines will be available at your fingertips (provided your local store has what you’re looking for). Even Slurpees and pizza! Aside from junk food and beer, wine and Champagne are available too. To make sure you’re over 21, the app will ask you to submit a picture of your ID for verification.
In celebration of the NYC launch, there will be a 7NOW truck making its rounds throughout the city over the next few days, giving out free 7-Eleven items. From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 23 the truck will be by Central Park; from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on August 24 at the Intrepid; from 9 p.m. to 3 p.m. on August 25 in Williamsburg’s bar scene; from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on August 26 at Washington Square Park; and from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on August 27 near the Rockefeller Center.
The app itself does not require a minimum to order, but after your first three free deliveries there will be a delivery charge of at least $6. It may sound steep, but can you really put a price tag on the ultimate convenience?…Maybe.
