Queens-born rap mogul 50 Cent is heading back to NYC in a major way–and he’s bringing a $100 million vision with him.
The hip hop icon has officially teamed up with Planet Hollywood chairman Robert Earl to launch PH Live, a massive, celebrity-driven entertainment venue set to take over Planet Hollywood’s flagship in Times Square.
And this isn’t just another nightlife spot–it’s being designed as a full blown, all-in-one entertainment hub.
Inside PH Live, the ‘mega venue’ coming to Times Square
Once it opens, PH Live is expected to host everything from pop-up concerts and movie premieres to album release parties, private events, and major cultural moments–all under one roof.
The space is being built to constantly transform, meaning no two nights will feel the same. Expect:
- Massive, immersive LED screens and lighting that can completely change the vibe of the venue depending on the event
- Surprise performances, celebrity appearances, and even live sports watch parties
- Over-the-top celebrations that feel more like exclusive Vegas-style shows than typical NYC nights out
- A rotating lineup of events spanning music, film, nightlife, and beyond
In short: it’s aiming to be a celebrity magnet right in the middle of Midtown.
A fully immersive 50 Cent experience
PH Live won’t just be about what’s happening on stage–it’s also a deep dive into 50 Cent’s world.
The venue will feature memorabilia from his film and television career, giving fans a closer look at his evolution from rapper to entertainment powerhouse.
On the menu, guests can expect dishes inspired by his personal favorites–like sweet chili shrimp, steak with mac & cheese, and a signature burger topped with a secret sauce.
From Vegas to NYC–and beyond
The project builds on 50 Cent’s existing relationship with Planet Hollywood, following his Las Vegas residency and the launch of his Candy Shop nightlife concept.
“Planet Hollywood has always been connected to pop culture, and PH Live takes that energy to the next level,” 50 Cent said to TMZ of the venture.
The goal? To create a destination where everything collides.
And this may just be the beginning–plans are already being discussed to expand PH Live to other cities, including Louisiana, where 50 Cent is currently developing a major film and television production hub.
