Christmas time is almost here and you might be scrambling for gifts!
Before you just buy whatever you can off of Amazon, consider taking a stroll through some of these shops in NYC. Not only are these places fun to visit during the holiday season, but you’re bound to find some of the best last-minute Christmas gifts in the process.
Macys
It might be the obvious answer, but there’s a reason why. Not only is it the largest deparment store in the world, but their Christmas decor is a sight to see. If shopping here doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit, nothing will.
The Disney Store
Check out the Disney Store in Time Square for some serious magic. The place is awesome all year round, but more so during the holiday season. Everyone loves a little Disney in their life, and they have things for kids and adults to enjoy. Plus, world famous customer service. Can’t beat that when the rush of the season is getting you down.
Bryant Park Holiday Market
This is more of a little village of stores than just one shop, but you have to drop by. This market only pops up a few weeks in the year and is chock full of a variety of vendors and products. From leather goods to soaps, you’ll enjoy shopping in these smaller businesses. Visit at night to really enjoy the Christmas lights. (Tip: try to make it to as many of the holiday markets as you can during the season! You’ll be glad you did.)
The Christmas Cottage
A tiny Midtown store, the Christmas cottage is perfect for picking up last minute decorations and all the LED lights you can imagine. If mom wants to go all out and beat the neighbors this year, you might want to bring her home some stuff from here.
Grand Central Holiday Fair
The only indoor holiday market in the city, this one takes place inside the beautiful halls of Grand Central Station. If you’ve got a shopper in tow that isn’t from New York, this is definitely the experience to give them.
