One of the beautiful things about New York is the people. It’s such a melting pot of individuals from all social statuses that we seldom appreciate how unique that is. Where else can famous people walk the streets and not be heckled by hundreds of paparazzi? Or ride on public transportation without being mobbed by fans?!
So many of us spend a chunk of time wrapped up in our own worlds that sometimes the most obvious things go unnoticed. Like sharing a subway car with a celebrity. It happens so often that there are sites dedicated to the sightings! Think about it. How many times have you walked past someone famous and not realized, or realized who it was after the fact because they blended in?
