This Sunday, November 8, 2026, top-seeded Gotham FC will kick off its 2026 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Playoffs run against Seattle Reign FC. And New York City residents can head to Sports Illustrated Stadium and join in on the action for just $12.

The promotion is designed to bring thousands of fans into the stands as Gotham’s “12th player” for one of the biggest matches of the season.

Match details: Gotham FC vs. Seattle Reign FC
The quarterfinal match takes place this Sunday, November 8, at 12:30 pm at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ.
Gotham FC enters the postseason following a historic regular season, setting club records for points, wins, and shutouts.
After securing the first NWSL Shield in club history earlier this week, the No. 1 seeded team earned home-field advantage for both the quarterfinals and semifinals.

Expanding sports access for New Yorkers
This ticket drop is part of Mayor Mamdani’s ongoing initiative to make major sporting and cultural events more affordable.
The administration previously offered $15 tickets for The Queens Classic—which broke the NYC attendance record for a women’s sporting event—alongside free and discounted tickets to FIFA World Cup matches, the US Open, the TCS New York City Marathon Grandstands, Broadway performances, the Met Opera, and more.
From the World Cup to the US Open, we’re unlocking the doors of major sporting events for all New Yorkers to enjoy and reaffirming, once again, that sports belong to the people — not just those who can afford the price of admission. – Mamdani
The playoff push caps off a landmark year for the club, which announced earlier this summer that Gotham FC will move to its permanent home at Queens’ Etihad Park beginning in 2028, establishing the city’s first soccer-specific stadium.
