We’ve all been there: the 2 am scroll, the upstairs neighbor’s footsteps, the siren that wails past your window at the exact moment you finally drift off. In the city that never sleeps, a good night’s rest can be hard to come by.
Now, one pop-up is asking New Yorkers how well they really slept last night. For one day only, YOTEL and Hilton are taking over Vanderbilt Hall ® at Grand Central Terminal with the Sleep Exchange, an interactive experience that lets you exchange last night’s sleep for instant prizes.

What to expect at the Sleep Exchange
The concept is simple. Swing by Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal on October 8 between 8 am and 7 pm and show your sleep score from a compatible wearable device. Then, trade it in for instant prizes and a shot at some seriously big rewards, including:
- Up to 100,000 Hilton Honors Points
- A fast track to Hilton Honors Diamond status
- A one-night stay at any YOTEL around the world
If your score could use some help, visit the Sleep Lounge, open all day. Sleep expert Dr. Rebecca Robbins, co-author of Sleep for Success!, will be on site offering personalized advice on everything from sleep health and wearable tech to jet lag and healthier sleep habits.

The pop-up celebrates a big milestone: Hilton Honors members can now earn and redeem points on eligible stays at participating YOTEL properties.
Quality sleep has always been central to the YOTEL experience, from its signature SmartBeds™ to spaces designed for real, restorative rest. The Sleep Exchange simply takes that philosophy out of the hotel and into the busiest corner of Manhattan.
