Did your iMessages not work yesterday? Us too!
According to Donwdetector, around 14,000 iPhone users reported problems with iMessage on Thursday evening around 6pm.
Many jumped to X after not being able to either send or receive iMessages.
Of course, the situation quickly turned into a meme opportunity with many X accounts making jokes about the outage being the reason their partner’s not replying or how they’d still have a broken iPhone over an Android.
The iMessage outage was fixed shortly after it began, around 6:30pm. It seems Apple never fully released a statement about the issue.
