For decades, millions of people have flocked to New York City to watch the iconic New Year’s Eve ball drop. Now, you have a rare opportunity to take a piece of that magic home with you.
One Times Square is hosting a special, one-day-only event on Thursday, November 12, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
During this exclusive window, visitors can purchase genuine Waterford crystals from the New Year’s Eve ball, as well as elegant Waterford champagne flutes, and have them customized on the spot.
Meet the master cutter

The highlight of the afternoon is a live appearance by Richard White, Waterford’s Master Cutter. He will be on-site to hand-engrave these stunning keepsakes for ticketed guests.
Watching White work is a unique chance to see the centuries-old craftsmanship that goes into every Waterford piece. Founded in 1783, Waterford has provided the official crystal for the Times Square ball for over 25 years.
Bringing their master cutter to the city gives New Yorkers a firsthand look at the precision and artistry that defines the world’s most famous countdown.
The massive Constellation Ball

If you haven’t seen the newest iteration of the New Year’s Eve ball, you are in for a treat. Unveiled in November 2025, the Constellation Ball is the largest in the building’s history. It spans 12.5 feet in diameter and weighs a staggering 12,350 pounds.
The ball features 5,280 Waterford crystals in three beautiful designs: Infinite Life, Infinite Liberty, and Infinite Happiness. Now, you can own a personalized piece of this architectural and artistic marvel.
How to get your personalized crystal
To access this one-day event, you must hold a ticket for either the One Times Square Skywalk Viewing Deck Experience or the Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball Experience.
These immersive tours were part of the building’s recent $550 million transformation. The Skywalk offers a jaw-dropping, 360-degree wraparound glass deck located 19 floors above Times Square.
Meanwhile, the Ball Experience provides a behind-the-scenes tour and an up-close photo op with the Constellation Ball itself.
Once inside, crystals will be available for purchase starting at $140, and a set of champagne flutes will cost $230.
Tickets for the experiences are on sale now at OneTimesSquare.com. Grab yours before they sell out, and get ready to ring in the holidays with your very own piece of New York City history!
