As the only thing we can leave our apartments for is food, many grocery stores in NYC still remain crowded.
Especially one of the city’s favorites, Trader Joe’s.
Like most TJ’s stores in the city, the main Trader Joe’s in Brooklyn (located at 140 Court St.) encounters lines that often wrap around the store, and in social distancing times, around the block.
But luckily one resident who lives across the street is posting updates on Twitter with the line status at all hours of the day! You are also welcome to DM them when you’re headed out to see if it’s a popular time.
If anyone needs an update, just ask!

Not only does it help to not waste extra time standing on line, it also helps improve safety so less people are coming at the same time.
Follow @TraderJoesLine to keep you to date if it’s your local Trader Joe’s.
As they say, they’re “not a bot, just a quarantined human.”
We hope other conveniently-located neighbors around the city are inspired to take up this practice!
