The Feast of San Gennaro is ending this weekend. Before it does, get down there to try the strangest looking ice cream you might ever see.
Along with the typical zeppolis, cannolis, pizzas and every other Italian-American street fair fare you could imagine, this year Little Italy is featuring another kind of treat. For $10 you could be the proud owner of the ice cream dog fad.

These strange puppy treats gained popularity last month after a video broke of someone spooning up a bite and deforming its poor little face. The dog ice creams, which are originally from Taiwan, have since made an impact on Insta-foodies and are now available at the fest on Mulberry Street.
You’ll even be able to choose your flavor between chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.
