If you haven’t yet had your chance to catch Tom Felton in Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, you now have a few more months to do so! Call it luck, or, well, Felix Felicis!
For the first time in nearly 15 years, Felton reprised his role as Harry Potter’s arch-nemesis Draco Malfoy back on November 11, 2025, at the Lyric Theatre.
Felton was originally scheduled for a limited 19-week run, set to take his final bow on March 22, 2026, but he couldn’t say goodbye to Broadway–the Slytherin wizard originally extended his engagement through May 10, 2026, and has now extended it once again!

The 38-year-old actor is the first from the original Harry Potter series to join the stage production.
Since his Broadway debut, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has consistently held the No. 1 spot on the Broadway grosses. Setting a box office record of $3.7 million for the nine-performance week ending December 28, 2025, it’s the Lyric Theatre’s highest-grossing production.
Felton stated:
Being a part of the Harry Potter films has been one of the greatest honors of my life…It’s surreal to be stepping back into his shoes—and of course his iconic platinum blond hair—and I am thrilled to be able to see his story through and to share it with the greatest fan community in the world.

Instead of a spring goodbye, Felton will continue his role as Malfoy through November 1, 2026. He’s not scheduled to appear at the following performances:
- May 11–31
- August 17–23
- September 14–20
- October 12–18
Felton stars alongside John Skelley (Harry Potter), Trish Lindstrom (Ginny Potter), Emmet Smith (Albus Potter), Aidan Close (Scorpius Malfoy), Rachel Christopher (Hermione Granger), Daniel Fredrick (Ron Weasley), and Janae Hammond (Rose Granger-Weasley).
The show lasts approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes, including one intermission.
