*Record scratch* New York is gearing up for an epic celebration of all things vinyl, and for music lovers, collectors, and anyone who has ever spent an hour flipping through crates “just to look,” this may be the soundtrack to your summer.
This June, VinylCon! will make its highly anticipated New York debut, transforming Industry City into a two-day haven for record collectors, DJs, audiophiles, and curious newcomers alike.
Running June 13–14, the traveling event will bring together more than 50 vendors from across the country, offering attendees the chance to hunt for rare finds, discover new favorites, and experience the uniquely satisfying thrill of finding the exact record you didn’t know you were looking for.
But VinylCon! is aiming to be much more than a traditional record fair. Throughout the weekend, visitors can browse thousands of records while enjoying all-day DJ sets curated by renowned DJ and collector Skeme Richards, along with food and drink vendors, interactive activations, and a community-focused atmosphere designed to keep the music playing long after you’ve made your latest purchase.
The event arrives as vinyl continues its remarkable resurgence. What was once considered a nostalgic format has become a cultural phenomenon, fueled by listeners craving more tangible, intentional ways to engage with music in an increasingly digital world.
