There’s a new rooftop pool in town, and it may just be the perfect hangout spot for summer in the city!
The Summer Club Rooftop Day Club & Pool just opened in Queens’ Long Island City, boasting elevated food and drinks, incredible skyline views and live sets from renowned DJs and musicians.
The new city oasis was inspired by the kinds of day clubs in Miami and Las Vegas, with a lush floral archway entrance, palm trees and greenery, plus three full bars and 26 private cabanas along the terrace’s perimeter. At 24,000 square feet, the day club and pool overlooks the skyline and also features an outdoor dining pavilion.
“At The Summer Club, we want our guests to feel as though they’ve found a hidden gem in the heart of NYC,” owner Seth Levine stated in a press release. “We’ve created a secluded summer oasis that offers both relaxation and celebration,” providing an “outdoor concept for NYC, having the largest outdoor rooftop pool day club in the city.”
Guests can enjoy cocktails, wine, beer, and eight different specialty frozen drinks. For food, nibble on the likes of tuna tartare tacos, grilled chicken skewers, lobster roll sliders, and Chef’s omakase.
Upcoming can’t-miss sets include Modern Machines and Rick Wonder over Memorial Day Weekend, and a summer party hosted by Barstool Sports’ Brianna Chickenfry with music by Vinny Vibe on June 4.
One of the best parts is that full day passes start at $60, quite reasonable compared to other NYC pool passes (note: that is their weekday rate, for weekends they go up to $75). Guests can also reserve VIP poolside table service.
Find the new Summer Club on the third floor terrace of Long Island City’s Ravel Hotel at 8-08 Queens Plaza South. It’s still close to Manhattan, just over the 59th Street Bridge.
The pool is open daily from 12-7 p.m. Find more info. & make reservations on their website here!
