Hitting the water after months of hibernation, Circle Line’s exhilarating speed boat ride The Beast is back for the summer starting May 6th!
The Beast, NYC’s only jet-powered speed boat ride, is best suited for thrill seekers and daredevils, both native to New York and tourists passing through.
Those onboard will still be able to take in NYC’s incredible views, while simultaneously getting the ultimate adrenaline rush. Riders will roar through NYC waterways past iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, while never losing sight of the stunning city skyline.
This “rollercoaster on the water” races down the Hudson at the heart-pounding speed of 40 knots (~45 mph) thanks to its 1400 BHP-horsepower and two ZF 3000 marine gears.
Embrace the rides many twists and turns, and be prepared for epic splashes—especially if you sit in the back! Beware that The Beast is difficult to tame and moves at very high speeds, so if you’re wearing a hat or sunglasses you’ll want to hold them tight.
And as of last year, The Beast has been newly re-painted and refurbished for the most thrilling experience yet!
Cruises will run at every hour from 11 am – 6pm for 30-minute rides, Tuesdays-Sundays.
