Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and it’s time to start figuring out where and how you want to spend your holiday. We all know how much preparation goes into the big meal, so we thought we’d help you out a bit!
In this list, we gathered up some of our favorite restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner on the big day, and also some places that you can grab food to complete your at-home meal. However, you decide to spend it, at least consider one of these handpicked NYC spots!
1. The Smith, Multiple Locations
The Smith is always on our list of best-ofs and it’s for good reason! This time it’s for their outstanding Thanksgiving meal that consists of a three course prix-fixe menu of starters, mains, and dessert. Work through a choice of turkey in three ways (Roasted Breast, Braised Leg Osso Buco, or Turkey Pot Pie) all while enjoying other hearty favorites like Butternut Squash Soup and Sticky Apple Toffee Pudding for dessert! 2. Mandarin Oriental, Columbus Circle
Looking for a Thanksgiving dinner with view? Venture over to Mandarin Oriental near Central Park, where you can enjoy a lavish Thanksgiving Day buffet prix-fixe dinner menu and for hotel guests: breakfast aerial views of the Macy’s Day Parade in the morning! This spot will be serving a Thanksgiving Day Buffet from 12 pm – 6 pm, as well as offering private dining options prepared by Mandarin Oriental chefs.
We’re talking Slow Roasted Heritage Turkey, Charcuterie Stations, Pumpkin Spice Crème brûlée, and a lot more! 3. Delmonico’s, FiDi
Dig your teeth into a 3 course menu at the recently reopened Delmonico’s in the Financial District! Executive Chef Eddie Hong is overlooking the $145 pp menu that includes Maine Crab Cake, Norbest Family Turkey, King Crab Garlic Spaetzle, Bourbon Pecan Baked Alaska, and a whole lot more! 4. BLACKBARN Restaurant, NoMad
For the first time ever, BLACKBARN is offering pick-up and (limited) delivery Thanksgiving catering. Chef John Doherty and Executive Chef Brian Fowler will pre-prepare the likes of Roast Turkey & thigh giblet gravy, Sausage & Apple stuffing, Maple Glazed Sweet Potatoes, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce and Pumpkin Cheesecake for dessert. Depending on the package, it can range from $485+ (4-7 people) to $765+ (10-12 people). Orders must be placed by November 17!

5. Sereneco, Greenpoint
Sereneco’s mix of Thanksgiving classics and signature cocktails is what lands it so high on our list. Their pre-fixe 3-course menu includes classics like Roasted Turkey Breast, while also offering appetizers like Butternut Squash Soup and Kale Salad.
The talk of the town though is the cocktails. Try out either the Fly Fig Fly (bourbon, fig, lemon, rosemary) or The Greenpoint (japanese whiskey, yellow chartreuse, sweet vermouth) for the best experience. It’s $75 per person and you can learn more here.

6. Jack & Charlie’s no.118, Greenwich Village
The Thanksgiving dinner at Jack & Charlie’s no.118 includes a 3-course prix-fixe menu with choices for appetizer, entree, and dessert. Classic Thanksgiving options are included like Roasted Heritage Turkey with chestnut stuffing and Pear & Ginger Rice Pudding with cranberry compote for dessert. 7. Farm to People, Bushwick
If you’re in need of some last minute sides for your at-home dinner, check out Farm to People, who offer all sorts of easy, deliverable Thanksgiving greatness. Preorders for Broad Breasted White Turkeys are currently open, and we expect their collection of homemade prepared sides (Fluffy Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Spinach, Cranberry Relish, and Mac & Cheese) to return soon too. 8. Cote Korean Steakhouse, Flatiron
Slice into four select cuts of USDA Prime & American Wagyu beef at this famous NYC Korean steakhouse for your Thanksgiving meal. In addition to a carnivorous heaven, try their egg souffle, spicy kimchi stew and sticky rice stuffing made with shiitake mushrooms and Chinese sausage. It’s $155 per person! See more here.

9. Zaytinya, NoMad
All day seating and a family-style meal is what you’ll get at this spot inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel. They’ll be serving hearty favorites like Butternut Squash Hommus (za’atar, pumpkin seed oil), Fall Vegetable Horiatiki (golden beets, honeycrisp apples, feta, lacinato kale), and Turkey Kleftico (turkey confit with Lebanese seven spice, chestnuts, and caramelized onions wrapped in house made phyllo) from November 22-26. 10. Twenty Three Grand, SoHo
This 3-course prix-fixe at the recently opened Twenty Three Grand in SoHo is serving up a range of options including velvety Butternut Squash Soup, exquisitely prepared Roast Turkey Breast Roulade, and an unforgettable Pumpkin Pie. It’s $135 per person and you can see the full menu here.

11. L’amico, Midtown
Enjoy an Italian twist on the American feast at L’Amico, where their $98 prix fixe menu of Wood-Fire Roasted Heritage Turkey, Crispy Parmesan Sformato, and Warm Champlain Orchard’s Apple Pie is sure to impress. 13. Industry Kitchen, Seaport
Shake up your traditional Thanksgiving meal with a delicious Thanksgiving-inspired pizza instead! Head to Industry Kitchen and order their Thanksgiving Pizza topped with turkey, orange-cranberry sauce and stuffing, topped with smoked almonds. This food hall will be open Thanksgiving Day taking dine-in reservations for a festive meal! They have multiple restaurants inside that will be open serving unique menus throughout the day. Executive Chef Sebastien Chaoui is creating at-home Thanksgiving options that are available for preorder now! They consist of turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted Brussel Sprouts, and so much more. Packages range from $225-$450. Learn more here.

18. The Standard, East Village
The Standard’s Thanksgiving Feast is one of our favorite family-style dinners that you’ll come across this year. For $90 per person, their three-course prix fixe food menu will serve you up all of the classics including carved turkey, roasted kabocha squash soup, pumpkin mousse tart and so much more. 19. Soogil, East Village
For more of a unique take on Thanksgiving, Soogil’s Korean-French fusion is something out of the ordinary. Their luxurious 5 course meal consists of appetizers like Beef Tartar, entrees like Boneless Turkey Roulade and Beef Wellington, and of course desserts like the Molten Chocolate Cake and Mango Sorbet. The flavors of the food at this spot are some of the best, and for $145 per person you’re getting the quality for the price. Reservations can be made here!

20. Le Jardinier, Midtown
This Michelin-starred restaurant may be one of the pricier Thanksgiving deals on our list, but it’s one of the tastiest too. The 3 course menu at $195 per person is steep, but not once you realize the luxurious options you’re getting (like the Maine Scallops with celeriac, bergamot and brown butter and Jaindl Farms Turkey with Cranberry Compote) Of course the flavors here are world-class and the ingredients are divine too, so keep that in mind if you decide to head here.

21. Empire Steak House, Midtown
With 3 locations in Midtown, Empire Steak House is serving up an elegant and decadent Thanksgiving feast this year in the form of a 3-course prix-fixe menu. Choose between appetizers like Tuna Tartare, Buffalo Mozzarella, or Pumpkin Soup and finish off with entrees like Traditional Thanksgiving Turkey with all the fixings, Dry-Aged Ribeye Steak, and Lobster Ravioli.
