With only a few weeks to go before Thanksgiving, it’s time to start figuring out where and how you want to spend your holiday. We all know how much preparation goes into the big meal, so we thought we’d help you out a bit!
In this list, we gathered up some of our favorite restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner on the big day, and also some places that you can grab food to complete your at-home meal. However, you decide to spend it, at least consider one of these handpicked NYC spots!
1. The Smith, Multiple Locations
The Smith is always on our list of best-ofs and it’s for good reason! This time it’s for their outstanding Thanksgiving meal that consists of a three course prix-fixe menu of starters, mains, and dessert. Work through appetizers like Butternut Squash Soup and Ricotta Gnocchi before tackling the main dish of Roasted Turkey Breast or Salmon and Red Wine Braised Short Rib. End it all with one of their sweet Dark Chocolate Layer Cakes or Caramel Apple Puddings and you’ll be due for a filling food coma! The meal is $75 per person and reservations can be made here!

2. Dante, West Village
This West Village staple will be offering a prix-fixe menu at $120 per person this year. The dishes include Chicory Salad, Roasted Heirloom Delicata, Agave Glazed Ham, and an Oven Roasted Turkey Breast. 3. The Standard, East Village
The Standard’s Thanksgiving Feast in the Winter Garden is one of our favorite family-style dinners that you’ll come across this year. For $75 per person, their three-course prix fixe food menu will serve you up all of the classics including carved turkey, green bean casserole, salads, brussels sprouts and so much more. Plus their flavorful signature cocktails are available to order à la carte from the Winter Garden drink list! Reservations can be made here.

4. Lure Fishbar, SoHo
Lure Fishbar will open its doors on Thanksgiving from 12 pm – 8 pm, serving a $95 fixed price menu consisting of an appetizer (Cauliflower & Roasted Garlic Soup or Chicories & Roasted Pear Salad), entrée (Thanksgiving Day Roasted Turkey with chestnut-sage stuffing, Delicata squash, cranberry and gravy, Spinach Stuffed Branzino with sweet potatoes, brown butter and lemon, or Grilled Filet Mignon with wilted Swiss chard, caramelized cipollinis, and black truffle butter), and dessert (Toasted Pecan Pie or Pumpkin Pie). 5. Balvanera, Lower East Side
As opposed to a prix-fixe menu, Balvanera takes a more simplistic Thanksgiving approach with their a la carte menu. It features offerings like a Tuscan Kale Salad, Rillette de Pato, Sweet Potato Agnolotti, and Turkey served with traditional stuffing, cranberry sauces, gravy and potatoes. Pair it with one of their festive drinks like the Mulled Malbec (Malbec wine with star anise, cinnamon, orange peel, and rosemary) and you’re in for a luscious meal!

6. Sereneco, Greenpoint
Sereneco’s mix of Thanksgiving classics and signature cocktails is what lands it so high on our list. Their pre-fixe 3-course menu includes classics like Turkey Breast and Vegan Mushroom Risotto, while also offering appetizers like the Organic Pear Salad and Camarel Bread Pudding. The talk of the town though is the cocktails. Try out either the Sereneco Derby (bourbon, rosemary, honey, grapefruit) or A Dodgy Character (rye whiskey, dolin rouge, st. agrestis paradiso, hellfire bitters) for the best experience. 7. Jack & Charlie’s no.118, Greenwich Village
The Thanksgiving dinner at Jack & Charlie’s no.118 includes a 3-course prix-fixe menu with choices for appetizer, entree, and dessert. Classic Thanksgiving options are included like Butternut Squash Soup, Roasted Heritage Turkey with chestnut stuffing, and Pear & Ginger Rice Pudding with cranberry compote. 8. Farm to People, Bushwick
If you’re in need of some last minute sides for your at-home dinner, check out Farm to People, who just debuted their new collection of homemade prepared sides in Bushwick. Some of our favorites include the Fluffy Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Spinach, Cranberry Relish, and Mac & Cheese. They also have an assortment of mouth-watering pies and desserts that you can bring home too. Plus as you can imagine by the name, the flavors here are as decadent and natural as it gets. 9. Zaytinya, NoMad
All day seating and a family-style meal is what you’ll get at this spot inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel. They’ll be serving hearty favorites like Roasted Turkey (breast roulade and confit leg); Turkey Gravy finished with black truffle and Madeira; Chestnut Stuffing; Green Bean Casserole; Buttered Potato Puree; Caramelized Onion Rolls; and Cranberry Sauce spiced with cardamom, orange zest and star anise. 10. Cote Korean Steakhouse, Flatiron
Slice into four select cuts of USDA Prime & American Wagyu beef at this famous NYC Korean steakhouse for your Thanksgiving meal. In addition to a carnivorous heaven, try their egg souffle, spicy kimchi stew and sticky rice stuffing made with shiitake mushrooms and Chinese sausage. See more here.

11. Valerie, Midtown
This cocktail bar and restaurant is serving a 3 course meal consisting of Thanksgiving classics like butternut squash soup, Hickory Smoked Roast Heritage Turkey, wild rice stuffed winter squash, apple cobbler and so much more! 12. Soogil, East Village
For more of a unique take on Thanksgiving, Soogil’s Korean-French fusion is something out of the ordinary. Their luxurious 6 course meal consists of appetizers like Caviar + Tuna and Octopus, entrees like Boneless Turkey Roulade and Beef Wellington, and of couse desserts like their Jenga Tower of Churros and Mango Sorbet. The flavors of the food at this spot are some of the best, and for $145 per person you’re getting the quality for the price. Reservations can be made here!

13. Industry Kitchen, Seaport
Shake up your traditional Thanksgiving meal with a delicious Thanksgiving-inspired pizza instead! Head to Industry Kitchen or order out their Thanksgiving Pizza topped with turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing for an unusual pie that will leave you always wanting pizza on the holiday from now on. 14. Margie’s, Rockaway
For our Queens folks, consider spending your Thanksgiving at Margie’s inside The Rockaway Hotel. They’re serving up a pre-fixe menu of deliciousness including appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Some of the standouts for us include the Honey Roasted Parsnip Soup, Herb Brined Turkey, and Spiced Pumpkin Mousse, but there’s so much more too. 15. OCEANS, Gramercy
If you’re looking for a unique seafood-focused Thanksgiving offering, try out OCEANS in Gramercy. Chef Andy Kitko will be serving a special 3-course menu with a combo of both seafood and traditional Thanksgiving foods. Try everything from an Omakase Platter and Maryland Crab Cake, to the more classic Roasted Amish Turkey and Braised Short Rib. It’s priced at $115 per person and reservations can be made here.

16. Veranda, SoHo
For a Michelin-starred Thanksgiving treat, try out George Mendes’ three-course, prix-fixe menu at Veranda in SoHo. The greenhouse-like restaurant will be serving a range of options including the signature shrimp “alhino,” baked cod “Gomes de Sa,” Pennsylvania all-natural turkey, and festive desserts such as their caramel bourbon-pecan pie. You also can add wine if you want to! This dinner is $95 per person and can be reserved here.

17. Avrà Espiatorio, Midtown
Get a front row view to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade if you elect to dine at Avra Estiatorio in Rockefeller Center. Their traditional menu of white meat turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and more is reasonably priced at $70 per person!

18. Peak, Hudson Yards
What could be better than picturesque views and a Thanksgiving Day feast? At Peak, you can get both! Their three-course menu curated by Executive Chef Chris Cryer will feature holiday favorites like Roasted Turkey, Salt Baked Sweet Potatoes, Yellowfin Tuna, Beef Tartare, and Painted Hills Filet Mignon. Plus, no meal is complete without sides and dessert, so their stuffing, roasted carrots and pies will of course be thrown into the mix. The prix-fixe menu starts at $175 for a non-window seat, $195 for a window seat, and $225 for a corner window seat. The meal is $85 for kids 10 and under.

19. Maman, Multiple Locations
We can’t deny that Maman has some of the best holiday pies in all of NYC. They just launched their Thanksgiving pies, and we highly suggest preordering one for your festive meal! Their four flavors are Classic Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Mascarpone Cream Cheese, Spiced Apple Crumb Pie, and the Mixed Berry Pie (they’re all delicious). These 9” pies serve about 8-10 people and price out at $42. The cut off day for preorders is November 20, so we suggest getting in your order ASAP!

20. Eataly, Flatiron & FiDi
Although not open for Thanksgiving Day, you can still pre-order a festive meal for the big day if you stop by one of the two Eataly locations! If you want all the Thanksgiving cooking done for you ahead of time, these packages that feed 6-8 people are a great stress-free option. They have curated salumi & formaggi platters, a maple turkey breast, hand-picked bottles of Barolo wine, and even family-style favorites from their bakery (like eggplant parmigiana and lasagna) for you to choose from. They also have tasty desserts and even a caviar service if you want to splurge on your holiday meal. Be sure to order now for pickup on November 22 and 23.

21. Le Jardinier, Midtown
This Michelin-starred restaurant may be one of the pricier Thanksgiving deals on our list, but it’s one of the tastiest too. The 3 course menu at $195 per person is steep, but not once you realize the luxurious options you’re getting (like the Maine Scallops with celeriac, bergamot and brown butter and Jaindl Farms Turkey with Cranberry Compote) Of course the flavors here are world-class and the ingredients are divine too, so keep that in mind if you decide to head here.

22. Beatnic, Multiple Locations
Get ready to say “Gobble Gobble” at Beatnic, where they are serving a delicious sandwich of the same name from now until November 27. Made with Seitan, Sautéed Kale, Harvest Stuffing, Rosemary Gravy, and Fresh Cranberry Sauce on a Potato Bun, the ‘Gobble Gobble’ sandwich is 100% plant based and packed with fiber and antioxidants. The best part? $1 of each sandwich will support City Harvest programming, who helps deliver food to soup kitchens and food pantries across NYC!

If you’re looking for the perfect pie this Thanksgiving, Thaimee Love’s Chef Hong Thaimee is offering three tempting Thai-influenced options for you to choose from: Thai Red Curry Pumpkin Pie with Red Curry Cream and Candied Thai Basil, Coconut Custard Pumpkin Pie, and Apple Galette with a Salted Candied Chili Crust. This hotel that’s just steps away from a prime Thanksgiving Parade viewing spot will be serving up holiday food at both their hotel and lobby restaurant Parker’s. Thompson Central Park will be serving all sorts of Thanksgiving classics like free range turkey with trimmings, bread stuffing, crispy brussels sprouts, roasted new crop potatoes, candied heirloom carrots and cranberry relish. Plus their tasty desserts of pumpkin pie or flaky apple galette are the perfect way to top it off. If you’re coming from out of town for the holiday, consider this spot!

28. Park Lane, Central Park
If you’re staying in Midtown, stroll on down to Park Lane, whose a buffet-style menu will get your mouth watering. Highlights include a festive carving station, omelets, chicken & waffles, unlimited Bloody Mary’s & mimosas, assorted desserts and more. The two-hour brunch will also include live entertainment provided by jazz and swing band, Fleur Seule!

29. Serafina, Multiple Locations
Normally we flock to Serafina for their decadent Italian cuisine, but this week we’re saving a spot for Thanksgiving dinner. This year’s menu will feature items like butternut squash soup with shaved Pecorino and chive oil, pumpkin ravioli with crispy pancetta, butter sage, and Parmigiano, traditional slow cooked roasted turkey served with chestnut sausage potato, stuffing, brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and gravy, and more!

This year’s Thanksgiving prix fixe menu at La Mercerie features curried pumpkin, foie gras and spiced pear chutney, steamed scallops accompanied by winter truffle, and pheasant as the pièce de résistance, expertly prepared by chef Marie-Aude Rose.
