Resident foodies are gearing up for one of Queens’ biggest culinary celebrations as Taste of Sunnyside returns for its 16th year on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
Bringing together more than 60 local restaurants, bars, and cafes across six commercial corridors, the beloved neighborhood festival is transforming the neighborhood into a giant, vibrant playground of global flavor, live music, and community pride.
With more than 1,500 attendees expected, food lovers will have the chance to explore a 2.2-mile route across the neighborhood, sampling everything from sizzling street food and artisanal bakery creations to craft beer, natural wines, and authentic international dishes.

An open-air street celebration serving up flavors from around the world
For just one delicious afternoon, Sunnyside will showcase why it remains one of New York City’s most diverse dining destinations.
Along the 2.2-mile event route, festival-goers can expect:
- 🍽️ 60+ Local Restaurants & Eateries: Sample dishes from neighborhood favorites, including Kora Bakery, Bolivian Llama Party, Makina, Latino Bites, Silvano, Sotto le Stelle, Maison de Gateaux, The Screen Door, and many more
- 🎶 Live Music & Roving Bands: Four roaming musical groups and a live DJ will keep the energy high throughout the neighborhood all afternoon
- 🪩 A Free Open-Air Block Party: Located on 46th Street between Queens Boulevard and Greenpoint Avenue (right under the iconic Sunnyside Arch), featuring community tabling, games, and art activations
- 🚌 Free Shuttle Hop-On Buses: To help attendees easily navigate all six commercial corridors along the crawl, two complimentary buses will run along the route all day
