New York City is crawling with celebrities. Many of which want to share their city experiences with the masses. Stars like Sarah Jessica Parker and Ansel Elgort recently partnered with AirBnB to give a select few personal tours. But there’s another app that also wants to share these type of tours with their audience—and they’ve partnered with celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson to give you a curated tour of Harlem’s culinary scene.
Detour is an app that provides “immersive audio walks” of famous places in cities around the world. That said, it’s no wonder why they’ve chosen chef and restauranteur Marcus Samuelsson (head chef of the famous Red Rooster) to be the voice of Harlem flavors.

On his audio tour of the neighborhood (which, through Detour is only $5) Samuelsson will take you to all of his favorite places in Harlem, such as Sylvia’s, Make My Cake, and of course his own restaurant, Streetbird Rotisserie.

The tour lasts anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours, depending on how long you spend at each stop. If you find yourself at home this weekend trying to figure out what to do with your day, this is the perfect activity for any foodie in NYC. Explore the best of Harlem from a celebrity chef that knows the area particularly well.
