If there’s one thing Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake know it’s sports and entertainment, and their new bar, T-Squared Social (that’s an homage to the T’s in Tiger and Timberlake, if you didn’t catch that) is letting us in on the fun.
And though it’s a collab we never expected, it’s a collab we can get behind nonetheless.
The new hot spot is a sports fan’s dream come true. It’s decked out with Full Swing simulators for golf and other interactive gameplay, duckpin bowling, darts, and over 35 TVs, so not even a second of game play is missed.
“We knew a concept like T-Squared Social would thrive in New York,” said Timberlake. “It’s a beautiful space that transcends the typical sports bar experience. You can go to be entertained without sacrificing quality or comfort.”
And the elevated food and cocktail menu and sleek design definitely exude quality and comfort, and are much better than your run-of-the-mill sports bar.
The space itself, measuring 22,000-square-feet, features soaring 24-foot open ceilings, various lounge areas, and reservations-only luxury “Box Seats” featuring 11 four-top tables in front of a 200-inch flat-screen–NYC’s largest.
As a nod to the historic building, a 12-seat “Vault” room is also available for private dining and events.
But a stunning 32-foot green-tiled and marble bar, inspired by upscale NYC cocktail bars, is what anchors the space.
Here, guests can sip on cocktails such as the 8am Tee Time ‘Roni, made with Nolet’s Gin, Aperol, 1757 Vermouth Rosso, and La Colombe Bowery Blend, the Indigo G&T, made with Empress 1908 Gin, Pink Grapefruit Giffard, Rosemary Leaf, Star Anise, and Fever Tree Tonic, or the Biri-Biri, made with Jalapeño-infused Amaras Verde Mezcal, Martini Blanco, Lime, Cucumber, and Celery-infused Agave.
A selection of beers, ciders, wines, hard kombuchas, and non-alcoholic libations are also available.
To eat, an extensive menu of elevated pub-style dishes includes creative takes on the classics, such as Pork Belly Popcorn, a selection of flatbreads and sandwiches, charcuterie boards, and an abundant raw bar.
“The idea for T-Squared Social came to us during a round of golf at Albany, our development in The Bahamas. Justin and I thought it would be cool to create a place that combines our favorite things and brings people together to just have a great time,” stated Woods.
So, next time the game is on, you know where to find us.
