Wake up! System of a Down fans rejoice, the band has unveiled tour dates for a trio of cities in 2025. Within days the Metlife Stadium show on August 28th was sold out and Aug. 27th was just added for fans in the tristate area!
It’s been over a decade since System of a Down performed in New York. If you saw their show in Wantagh in 2012, it was an unforgettable one!
Second shows were also announced for Chicago and Toronto stops. System will be playing Soldier Field on Aug. 1st which is sold out, and Sept 1st, recently added. In Toronto, at Rogers Stadium, the sold out show is Sept. 3rd and the newly added show is Sept. 5th.
Openers for the Metlife shows will be none other than Los Angeles metal group Korn! They will be playing the Metlift shows after their summer trek in Europe. Each city had a stellar opening act announced, for Chicago it’s Avenged Sevenfold and for Toronto it’s Deftones. Both cities are less than a few hours away on a flight! (Sign us up for all three shows).
While we can’t help you book your flights from NYC to Toronto or Chicago, here’s the best way to head to Metlife once you snagged those tickets!
- Start off at Penn Station (NJ Transit Concourse).
- Take any train to Secaucus Junction (marked with “SEC”).
- Secaucus Junction is the first stop after leaving Penn Station.
- At Secaucus Junction, go upstairs to the mezzanine and show your rail ticket to the staff at the gates.
- Trains on the BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line to the stadium leave from Tracks E-H on the lower level.
2025 will be a great year of concerts, with many more to come! Get ready for the mosh pits.
