The recently widowed Peg isn’t used to cooking for one, but the extra dinner doesn’t go to waste whenever her troubled friend Ryan pays her a visit. In the new play Swing State, quiet evenings in rural Wisconsin give way to dramatic events that will spiral and change this town drastically.
When Peg notices her husband’s toolbox is missing, she places a call to the local authorities. Unintentionally, this becomes a catalyst to a series of chaotic events that will forever reverberate through the small community.

You simply don’t want to miss the show the Chicago Sun-Times calls “an engrossing work filled with sympathy for its characters and for the country.”
The play stars noted Chicago actors Mary Beth Fisher, Bubba Weiler, Kirsten Fitzgerald and Anne E. Thompson.
