If you’re looking for the ultimate seasonal escape, look no further.
Waterdrinker’s Sunflower Summer Festival is happening on July 18th and 19th. It’s the perfect excuse to leave the hot city pavement behind and get completely lost in a gorgeous sea of yellow.
Acres of family fun and food
The festival is packed with activities for everyone. Your entrance fee includes access to a vibrant vendor market, live music, and plenty of food trucks. You can grab some freshly roasted corn or hit up the beer garden for a sunny afternoon drink.
Got kids in tow? They will definitely stay busy. The farm features miniature golf, jumbo jump pads, barnyard animals, and tractor pedal cars. There’s even a wooden playland, an obstacle course, and a bouncy bull riding area.
U-pick sunflowers and endless photo ops
The farm is completely full of family photo spots. You can pose inside a giant corn cutout, explore the tulip tunnel, or snap a picture next to vintage cars and tractors.
Selfies, family photos, and even dog photos are highly encouraged. Just remember to keep your furry friends on a leash while you stroll! If you want to take the sunshine home with you, you can pick your own sunflowers for an additional $2 per stem.

Ready to plan your upstate road trip? The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
🎟️ Tickets are $20 per person, and children 2 and under get in for free. Just keep in mind that some outdoor activities might be closed if the weather acts up.
