Hiding away in a secret garden with a cocktail in hand seems like the perfect summer activity for NYC right now.
Lucky for us, a new pop-up concept just opened at The High Line Hotel in Chelsea! Daisy’s Cocktail Garden, named after the vintage 1959 London double-decker bus parked in front of the hotel garden, is providing cooling drinks and delicious bites all summer long.
The new menu includes drinks like ice cold rosé, a frozen Negroni or Dark & Stormy, and light bites like truffle popcorn, chips with garlic and herb spread, and sandwiches. You can check out the full menu here.
There is seating in both the lush front garden and back courtyard, with beautiful greenery and plant shade in both locations so you stay cool in the summer heat. And even your pooch is allowed (they must be on a leash at all times)!
Some other safety rules include leaving six feet of space between yourself and others (and all the plants definitely make that easier to do), and wearing a face mask at all times where social distancing cannot be maintained, except when actively drinking or eating.
Hours are Monday – Thursday from 3-10pm, Friday from 3-11pm, Saturday from 1-11pm, and Sunday from 1-10pm.
The High Line Hotel is located at 180 10th Ave, right near the famous park of the same name, which is currently still closed.
