Note: NYC’s Stranger Things Experience has now officially ended.
Get on your spandex, set that bouffant and get ready for a nostalgic journey into 1980s Hawkins — while you still have the chance!
This summer, Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn Navy Yard was transformed into a portal to an immersive Stranger Things mini-verse, filled with epic audiovisual sets, supernatural mysteries and pulse-racing encounters that brought the cult TV sensation to life — and this month is your last chance to experience it in person. The highly-rated experience will close its doors in NYC on Sunday, September 4.
An ominous world looms beneath the surface of the quiet town, and Hawkins needs your help to save it. Once you step into the supernatural universe of Stranger Things, you’ll be sucked into an hour-long adventure riddled with secrets, challenges and obstacles that will unlock your special powers.
Just don’t get too distracted, spies in lab coats and Demogorgons are lurking on every corner. Luckily, El and the gang will be weaving through the scenes to help you navigate riveting, new interactive narratives, developed with the show creators.
And after you go saving the world from evil forces, there are sundaes to be devoured at Scoops Ahoy, and high scores to be beaten at the Palace Arcade. Plus tons of other fun set recreations and merch opportunities — from Family Video to the Hellfire Club. It’s all to be found in the totally ’80s Mix-Tape that follows the interactive experience (and where you can spend as much time as you want!).
